Founded in 2002 by Chuck Gookins and Chris Sneed, Above & Beyond Entertainment is fast becoming one of the most sought-after entertainment companies in the tri-state area. Owners Gookins and Sneed each ran their own entertainment companies—for 11 and nine years, respectively—before merging their talents to form Above & Beyond. Gookins also spent several years honing his skills under the mentorship of Ozzy LaMillia, owner of Versatile Entertainment, a renowned entertainment company. While both are superb entertainers, they have different, yet complementary strengths. Gookins is a creative and astute businessman, consistently looking for ways to provide better, more comprehensive client services. Sneed, on the other hand, is a brilliant Technical Coordinator and keeps Above & Beyond on the cutting edge of technology with the best products the entertainment industry has to offer.
Rounding out the management team is Ali Gookins, who joined Above & Beyond as Director of Operations in 2004. She runs the entire behind-the-scenes show, helping clients plan their entertainment needs, drawing up contracts and working hand-in-hand with the company's entertainers. Ali Gookins' outstanding organizational skills, excellent follow-up and enthusiastic "let's party!" attitude make her an invaluable asset to the company.
